Hannah Babinski

Hannah Babinski is currently a 3L at the University of Maine School of Law pursuing her J.D. with a focus on Information Privacy Law. Hannah serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Student Journal of Information Privacy Law and is the acting President of the Maine Law Information Privacy Association. Prior to beginning her studies at Maine Law, Hannah worked for a regulatory governmental agency focused on natural resource management and energy production where she served as a technical editor and data manager. She continues to serve in this capacity part-time during the academic year in addition to her studies. Hannah is interested in data protections, compliance, and risk management as it relates to large corporations, Big Data, and customer transactions. She is also interested in policy development as it relates to emerging technologies, AI governance, free expression, and consumer rights.
