William Simpson is a 2L at the University of Maine School of Law. In addition to being a Staff Editor for SJIPL, William was the 2022-2023 Center for Law & Innovation Privacy Law Fellow, and an E-Board Member for the American Constitution Society Maine Law Chapter. Before law school, William was working as a paralegal for a family law attorney and spent his free time on a surfboard at the local beaches. Within the privacy field, William is especially interested in AI governance, internet law, data sovereignty, mass surveillance, and adtech.
