Devin Forbush

Devin Forbush is currently a 3L at the University of Maine School of Law, where he focuses on Information Privacy and Civil Litigation. At SJIPL, Devin serves as the Managing Monthly Editor, supervising and working alongside the monthly teams’ editorial and publication process. Both before and during his time at law school, Devin has worked as a paralegal at a criminal defense firm in Portland, Maine. As a paralegal, Devin’s passion for litigation and client advocacy blossomed. During Law School, Devin shifted his passion for litigation towards the Information Privacy and Data Protection space. Specifically, Devin has focused on Health Care Law, Consumer Data Protection, Corporate Privacy Compliance, Intellectual Property, and the crossover of First Amendment issues within the privacy field. Devin has served as a Bernstein Fellow, a Student Attorney with the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, and was a member of Maine Law’s inaugural Data Protection Moot Court team. During his free time, Devin is an avid skydiver, racking up over 700+ jumps, rock-climber, skier, and most importantly, a dog dad!
