Nikki Muggli

Nikki Muggli is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Maine School of Law, where she serves as a Staff Editor for the Student Information Privacy Journal. She is actively engaged in privacy and data protection research, with a focus on digital literacy, global governance, and human rights. Nikki has gained valuable legal experience through internships at the Network Advertising Initiative, where she contributed to state privacy law policy advocacy, and at the Alliance of Idaho, where she conducted legal research on ICE policy and Asylum law. Additionally, she has interned with the United States Department of State’s Internet Freedom and Human Rights bureau and the UN Human Rights Council Advisory Committee. Nikki holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from IE Business School and a Bachelor’s in International Studies from Kyung Hee University. She is dedicated to advancing scholarship and policy in information privacy and public interest law.
