Emily Weisser is a flex-time, 2L student with an interest in family
formation law. She currently works as a government affairs paralegal
at Norman, Hanson & DeTroy in Portland. Prior to law school, Emily
worked as an asbestos litigation paralegal in Boston and earned her
undergraduate degree from Providence College. She is particularly
passionate about protecting women’s health data and looks forward to
advancing this interest through her work with SJIPL. Outside of law
school, Emily enjoys all things college basketball and helping host at
her best friend’s charcuterie bar, Aperó, in Biddeford.
